Hi, I'm Scott, or just Scotty
Tuning and Repairing Pianos Since 2020
I've been playing piano since I was eight years old, and I've been part of San Diego's music community for as long as I can remember. Growing up in Del Mar and North County, I developed a deep love for how a piano should sound and feel.
In 2018, I started training as a piano technician to take that passion even further. Since then, I've been tuning and servicing pianos across San Diego County, helping my neighbors, schools, churches, retirement communities, and musicians keep their instruments in great shape.
The pianos I care for today are the same kinds of instruments I grew up playing and hearing as a kid, and it's an honor to be trusted with them.

Services
Standard Tuning: A full tuning to restore proper pitch and tone. Recommended every 6-12 months for regular maintenance.
Pitch Raise & Tuning: A gradual adjustment for pianos that have not been tuned in a year or more. This service will bring your piano safely back to standard pitch and includes a full tuning. (A440)
Quick Tune Up: For pianos that are slightly out of tune but do not require a full tuning. Ideal for recent tunings that need small corrections.
Voicing (tone adjustment): An adjustment of the piano's tone to be brighter, mellower and more even across the keyboard. The process involves reshaping, needling or softening the hammers.
Action Regulation: Fine adjustments to the internal mechanics of the piano to improve key responsiveness, evenness, and touch. Recommended for pianos that feel uneven or hard to play.
Repairs & Maintenance: Sticky keys, broken strings, pedal issues, or minor part replacements; full diagnostics and repair options available.
Pre-Purchase Inspections: Considering buying a used piano? I'll inspect the instrument for you and provide a full evaluation of its condition and value.
Interior Cleaning: Careful internal cleaning to remove dust, debris, and buildup that can affect performance and longevity.
